Klamath River Spore Sonification 2009-2019
Description:
Working in collaboration with Dr. Jerri Bartholomew and Stephen Atkinson from OSU Microbiology, we are investigating the use of sonification to identify patterns and predict change in environmental data. We are studying the impact of the spore c shasta on the health of salmon at an index point in Klamath River in Northern California over a ten-year period (2009-2019). Currently, we are sonifying water flow, temperature, and spore data in real-time. Check out the following video for a demonstration of our work:
